I noticed the positive reviews are not giving specific examples so I think this store makes its employees put up positive reviews to negate all the poor ones. The poor reviews give very specific examples like I am about to do. So very disappointed. Ordered an entertainment center about a year ago and salesperson was dishonest with the timeframe so he could make a quick buck it took about 3-3.5 months to arrive - which was double the time I was quoted. I actually went into the store to complain and they told me it was always going to take 3-3.5 months. Liar, Liar, pants on fire. When it arrived It was fine, cheap materials but you get what you pay for. Ordered the matching china cabinet this past June, took 3.5 months to get it (didn't even bother to ask the timeframe this time) and then when it arrives top section is broken. Employees who delivered it said Rooms to Go would call me to deliver new piece. They never call. I hunt them down and set up a new time. Then we had hurricane Irma and they gave away my china cabinet to someone else. I call them and say I want to cancel. I get an employee on phone who says they can pull one from another store since I''ve had such a bad experience. Got delivered today and inside the molding and glass is not right. Additionally the color is off and the material is not as nice as the matching entertainment center I bought previously. Very disappointed that this was such a hassle at every single contact point with this store or its employees and I am still not getting what I ordered.
Francois was nice. We needed space to make a decision and he gave it to us. Once we were ready we asked for his help. He was very polite.
We heard about the sale at the Oakland Park location. Scott S help us out every inch of the way--- more concerned that the furniture and extras worked FOR us in the space we had in OUR home than in trying to get us to buy more than we needed. We bought two rooms of furniture and I cant wait to see how it transforms our home! Great service, great value! Can't wait to see the new store! Thanks Scott! Looking forward to our new furniture!
Lots of sales people standing around talking to each other. When one did offer to help, he was beyond extremely pushy. Took my business to a different Rooms To Go store.
Selection was good but do not use cash always use alternate forms of payment in case you change your mind on an order. It has been 3 weeks and I still have not received my refund check. Cash is king right? Not in this instance. My boyfriend received his refund the next day and he used his debit for the purchase. PLEASE ALWAYS USE ALTERNATE FORMS OF PAYMENT INSTEAD OF CASH.
