Great little hiking trail (sometimes muddy, so wear waterproof boots!) that makes you feel like you're not in the middle of busy Ft Lauderdale. Great playground for kids & great disc golf course!
Beautiful quite park, very clean, wonderful staff, large lots, plenty of trees and nature. I'm here for work and have been inside the park on and off for a year and i love it i would would stay permanently if county parks aloud it, the staff does a wonderful job in every department, I can't say some of the other clients who stay here are as clean and nice as the staff but that's uncontrollable. It's can get a little more price wise but the peace and quite is worth every penny
Was told it's okay to pay a few hours late as long as I call to let them know and now they kicked me and my girlfriend out with no where to go when we never missed a payment and it's like your not aloud to do anything or have anything at all on your site. I was here for over a month and they don't clean up. We found used condoms and trash all throughout the park. Broward county inmates are supposed to be their to clean but they sit their and lounge around all day. And the only reason I have them 1 star is because of the staff that is friendly. The manager will also go through your belongings if left outside. He went through a few totes I had and was looking under my tarps. county park or not they are not aloud to do that it's called invasion of privacy
I went with my daughters for their Campfire and Hayride Series. It consisted of a hayride that went around the park twice and we ended with roasting marshmallows and making S'mores around a campfire. So much fun for $3.50 each.
Naturally I can't guarantee safety anywhere, especially nowadays. Nobody can. I can share my experience. I camped for a weekend when I was about 10years old with my 2 friends and their father. This was back in the 70's. As you can see that was quite a while ago. From what I have observed lately, just taking a drive through or a small picnic with my husband it looked clean & a good spot for the beginning camper. It looked like some people camped in tents. Others were in motor homes. There are bathroom facilities the last time I was there. There is a lake to relax by.There is also a nice playground for the kids. I would recommended driving through during a weekday when there is no charge, or taking a picnic, take a look around so you can see for yourself and make up your own mind. It really is, in my opinion a very quiet, nice serene atmosphere ; a good healthy way to enjoy the outdoors. I hope this helped. Thanks for asking. God bless!
